Getting Closer to Nurture Study day

Our first Professionals and Peer supporters study day was a great sucess with 70 attendees from all over the South west.

Some of the comments received are below

“What a wonderful network of organisations we have across the south west. Great to see the enthusiasm and commitment we have locally.”

“I have found today really interesting. I have taken a lot of information away with me. I definitely think this will benefit me as a breastfeeding peer supporter.”

” I thououghly enjoyed today. great venue and very well organised providing brilliant and relevant information. I would love to see more events like this occuring.”

” Really enjoyed Kelechi’s opening address. Great to have someone who genuinley seemed happy to be here and interested in our work, rather than just a ‘diary commitment’.”

” The information and talks today have been incredibly informative and supportive.

As a peer supporter its so lovely to see how important and valued our help is.

It’s also been fantastic to learn about resources and other projects/companies who feel as passionate about supporting families and babies.

Thank you so much and can’t wait for the next one!.”

We have also had some useful ideas for activities and topics for the next study day – thank you to all who attended and for the feedback – it is really useful and will be acted upon where possible.

Some of the pictures from the day are below. if you were there and took pictures you would like to share please email me on amanda.chapman4@nhs.net and we can add them.
